Jackson Hole Dude Ranch: Winter Pasture
As many of our guests know, the horses at our Jackson Hole Dude Ranch head to Dubois for the winter, where the temperatures stay balmy and the snow doesn’t stick. The last of the horses left the ranch two weeks ago, and they all arrived healthy and ready for their vacation! Dude Ranch Cuisine ~ Gros Ventre River Ranch Brownies
Our chefs are constantly serving up fresh and innovative dude ranch cuisine here at the Gros Ventre River Ranch. Here is a recipe for one of our guest favorites, homemade deep dish campfire brownies! GVRR Campfire Brownies 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons flour 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder ¾ teaspoon baking powder ¾ teaspoon salt 1 cup unsalted butter, melted 2 cups white sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 4 eggs 1 ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips (can substitute peanut butter chips, white chocolate chips) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
