Come work with us this summer!

Graduating college this spring and not sure what your next move is? Need a change of pace? Apply for a staff position at the Gros Ventre River Ranch for the summer job of a lifetime.

Spending a summer at our dude ranch gives staff the opportunity to meet people from all over whether it be guests, or coworkers. This creates a diverse work environment conducive to personal growth, and broadened cultural horizons. Additionally, Jackson Hole is one of the few places where great Western traditions live on. Come see how special cowboy life is in the mountains.

Working in hospitality is also a fantastic way to prepare for any career, as people skills are a crucial part of the job. All positions at our ranch interact with our guests to give them the best possible ranch vacation. Through service, our staff members learn how to effectively communicate with both guests and colleagues around them, and how to work as a team to reach a common goal. Skills learned here will be helpful with whatever your next career step is.

Last but not least, we can’t forget about the job perks! All employees receive room, board and a salary, so there’s no need to worry about finding housing, or grocery shopping. When you’re not working, there are countless ways to enjoy days off. Participate in the ranch activities by going for a horseback ride, or learning to fly fish. Go for a hike in Grand Teton National Park. Head up to Yellowstone to see the wonders that attract millions every year. We are also only thirty minutes from the town of Jackson, so oftentimes staff will head in for the rodeo on Saturday night.

We are currently hiring wranglers, waitstaff/housekeepers, kitchen crew, and fly fishing guides. Generally, summer staff arrives in early June, and departs in late September. Fill out an application and we’ll get back to you, and be sure to check out what previous staff says about working with us on the bottom of the page.

We hope to see you this summer!
