• Looking to get away from the “hotel” atmosphere? The Gros Ventre River Ranch is definitely the place you want to come! Although we boast gourmet meals and beautiful accommodations, the common ranch “uniform” consists of worn jeans, comfy flannels, cottons tees and cowboy boots! Our goal is relaxation for all, which means no in-room TVs, no tennis courts, and no swimming pools ~ we replace these city comforts with good company, nights by the campfire roasting marshmallows, horseback riding and fishing, and afternoons tubing down the Gros Ventre River!

• The Gros Ventre River Ranch is in a unique area, which provides our guests beautiful views of the Tetons from the ranch itself, as well as on several of our horseback rides! Our horseback rides also cover extremely varied terrain ~ in one horseback ride one can cross a river, ride through glimmering Aspen groves, lope through golden hay fields, scale a steep hill, and more!

• Our central location is close to all kinds of activities: We are located 5 minutes from Upper Slide Lake, 5 minutes from the Kelly Warm Springs, 10 minutes from historic Mormon Row, 15 minutes away from the Jackson Hole Airport, 20 minutes away from the entrance to Grand Teton National Park, 25 minutes away from the town of Jackson, and about an hour away from the entrance to Yellowstone National Park

• When we say “all inclusive dude ranch vacations,” we MEAN all inclusive! Our rates include comfortable accommodations, 2 horseback rides a day (our riders can choose from different levels,) a breakfast ride, picnic ride, and team penning and sorting, fishing with our fishing guide on the Gros Ventre River, a guided hike, use of mountain bikes on the property, 3 gourmet meals a day, appetizer hour, wine and beer with dinner, and more! (Not included in our rates is the traditional dude ranch service charge, lodging and sales tax, and any extras you might want to add our during your stay ~ these include an in-room massage, white water rafting with a company in town, etc.)
