Are you an experienced rider looking for advanced horse riding in Jackson Hole? Or a more inexperienced rider looking to learn more about horse riding? Look no further than the Gros Ventre River Ranch, where we safely guide our guests into the wilds of the Gros Ventre region, providing them with challenging terrain and loping rides!

Our advanced rides bring together the elements that you learn on our beginner and intermediate rides.  Those elements will be applied on advanced rides with the addition of loping (back east it is called cantering).  You should not join this ride until you are at ease and can control your horse in a trot. We will also cover more difficult terrain than any of the other rides. This terrain can include steeper inclines and declines, wide open hay fields suited for loping, aspen groves, river crossings and more!
