  3. The town of Jackson elected the first all-women city council in 1920.
  4. Yellowstone National Park has over 10,000 active thermal features.
  5. Jackson Hole was named after trapper David E. Jackson. The term “hole” was used by trappers and mountain men to describe low lying valleys surrounded by mountains.
